Pizza Mania is pizza restaurant in Whittier, Ca. It harkens back to a time when the ol' Little League team would grab a slice after a game, and spend our parents’ quarters in perpetuity, trying to get "to the next level" on that arcade cabinet. We wanted to encapsulate that feeling of nostalgia in a brand identity and website form.

"air quote" was a design test I had so much fun with, that I continued to flesh it out a little more. This app is to books, what the Letterboxed app is to movies... ratings, reviews, community, and recommendations. The logo was particularly fun to iterate on. If you look carefully, you can see that the negative space of the yellow section resembles an "a" and the negative space of the black section resembles a "q". The black area is also in the shape of a hand that is making "air quotes". The fingernails of the hand are also made to resemble quotation marks.

Framer is an end to end tool that lets everyone design and ship web sites. You don’t need a frontend team or web programming course. Just basic canvas skills.
